Coffee Cake Muffins//Guest Post by Kelsie!

Why hello there! I’m Kelsie, and I blog on over at Bella Ragazza!
I’m a homeschooled high school student with a love for chocolate. Seriously, chocolate is the best.:) I’m little weird at times and pretty much awkward at all times, something that wouldn’t be too hard to figure out if you read my blog.:) I like to blog about my personal fashion, my awkwardness, food, and everyday life. I play the violin, and think that classical music is awesome. I have lived in multiple states and I love to travel, I dream about going all over Europe and having the opportunity to meet new people and experience different cultures. I’m also a foodie, I love to make it, and eat it. And coffee? Well let’s just say that stuff is awesome too. I like to read, some of my favorites are Jane Eyre, Love Comes Softly, and Huckleberry Finn. I have one sister, Mikayla, we are best friends and I couldn’t imagine life without her! Most importantly, I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to my best to serve Him daily, and I live by faith in Him. I have a heart for missions and serving others. I have so much loved this journey I have started called blogging, and hope to get to know you all more!

I'm including a yummy recipe just for you guys, because you're all awesome. These muffins are amazing! They taste like donuts, so be ready to have more than one!


>>Ingredients
1-¾ cup Flour*
1-½ teaspoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoons Salt
½ teaspoons Nutmeg
½ teaspoons Cinnamon
⅓ cups Oil*
¾ cups White Sugar*
1 whole Egg
¾ cups Milk
FOR THE TOPPING:
¼ cups Butter
⅓ cups White Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
>>Make It
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Combine oil, sugar, egg and milk. Add dry ingredients and stir only to combine.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a bowl. Combine the white sugar with the cinnamon in another bowl.
Shake muffins out while still hot. Dip muffins in butter, then into the sugar/cinnamon mix. Let 
cool.

 (healthier alternative, this how we like 'em!)
*White whole wheat flour
*coconut oil
*1/2 cup maple syrup
